MISSION STATEMENT >

Trabajadores Unidos Workers United (formerly known as Young Workers United), formed in 2002, is a regional Bay Area immigrant worker center (SF-Oakland) that finds itself at the intersection of economic justice and immigrant rights inclusion. TUWU centers this intersection by organizing through a working-class conscious identity, engaging its membership with a feminist economic perspective, and holding institutions and employers accountable. We do this through worker organizing, political education, know your rights outreach, and maintaining a highly engaged and active base.

Trabajadores Unidos Workers United (anteriormente conocida como Young Workers United), formada en 2002, es un centro regional de trabajadores inmigrantes del Área de la Bahía (SF-Oakland) que se encuentra en la intersección de la justicia económica y la inclusión de los derechos de inmigrantes. TUWU centra esta intersección organizándose a través de una identidad consciente de clase obrera, conectando a sus miembres con una perspectiva económica feminista, y haciendo que las instituciones y empleadores rindan cuentas. Hacemos esto a través de organizar trabajadores, educación política, informando de derechos laborales, y manteniendo una base altamente comprometida y activa.
